The heart of Tutaweza is providing an opportunity for people in the US to impact the lives of Tanzanian youth. Tanzanians have so much to offer and contribute, and are "rich" in many ways . . . in their sense of community and in their hopefulness for the future. However, without an education their choices are limited. We believe that education is the key to success, for the individual and for the country. It promotes understanding, and understanding leads to inspiration. Inspired people become empowered and take action toward building a better world. We invite you to join with us in changing lives, and in changing the future. Even small donations make a big difference. It only costs $800-$1000 per year of secondary school. Please consider making a one-time or a monthly contribution. As all administrative costs are already covered, 100% of the money collected from donors will go towards providing a brighter future in Tanzania. Tutaweza has been approved as a tax-exempt public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, therefore your contribution is tax deductable.

To keep costs and overhead as low as possible, and to provide you with the highest security, we have selected Paypal as our preferred method of collecting your valued donation.
